About International Affairs, MA - at University of Exeter

The programme examines the key concepts and principal mainstream approaches to international relations. It aims to provide an advanced understanding of the theory and practice of foreign policy. Unlike the other two programmes in International Relations and International Studies, this particular programme is geared to ‘real world’ problems and involves the use of a case study method of teaching.

Entry requirements Normally a 2:1 Honours degree or above. Undergraduate degrees in Politics or a relevant social science subject are preferable for many of the programmes but not a requirement in all cases.
