The BSc and BA three-year programmes are identical in content and differ only in the title of the award, Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts. It must be stressed that both degree programmes emphasise the scientific nature of psychology, both in experiment and theory, and include modules on statistics and data analysis. The programmes are accredited by the British Psychological Society as conferring eligibility for the Graduate Basis for Registration, provided that the minimum qualification of Second Class Honours is achieved. This is the first step towards becoming a Chartered Psychologist after further professional training.
