Interaction Design specialism is directed at students with a passion for people and interactive technology. Students learn to shape how information is accessed and used, how environments might change based on user needs, and how information can be embedded in products. Students also learn to describe human thought patterns and habits and use this information to design innovative interactive ideas.
The specialism seeks to achieve these aims by learning about:
• learning interaction design tools, techniques and processes
• design research methods
• concept creation techniques
• embedded and tangible technologies
• prototyping and scripting skills
• information architecture
