The LLB Business Law will:
-Provide you with a solid foundation for a career in law
-Train you to apply legal concepts in a practical environment
-Provide you with transferable skills, including team working, communication, presentation, problem-solving, research and analytical skills
- Graduates achieve an LLB accredited Law degree
- Students will study compulsory modules in years 1 and 2 and will then choose from a selected number of specialist optional modules in their final year. Students on this scheme would be required to select 120 credits from these options. The optional modules available include: Employment Law, Competition Law, E-commerce Law, Commercial Law, Company Law, World Trade Law and a dissertation module.
Choosing law will enable you to expand your intellectual skills in the context of a discipline which touches upon every aspect of human endeavour. As the degree progresses you will notice a marked improvement in your ability to manage large amounts of materials, to express yourself in an organised and convincing manner both in writing and orally, and to evaluate the strength of arguments you encounter. Not only will this give you a sense of personal satisfaction, but you will also have acquired skills which are highly relevant to a range of career options attracting competitive salaries.
