Course Overview

The LLB Law Programme will:

-Provide you with a solid foundation for a career in law
-Train you to apply legal concepts in a practical environment
-Provide you with transferable skills, including team working, communication, presentation, problem-solving, research and analytical skills

  • Graduates achieve an LLB accredited Law degree
  • All the compulsory foundation modules required for a qualifying law degree are completed at Levels 1 and 2, which leaves our students with a wide range of choices at Level 3.

Course description

Choosing law will enable you to expand your intellectual skills in the context of a discipline which touches upon every aspect of human endeavour. As the degree progresses you will notice a marked improvement in your ability to manage large amounts of materials, to express yourself in an organised and convincing manner both in writing and orally, and to evaluate the strength of arguments you encounter. Not only will this give you a sense of personal satisfaction, but you will also have acquired skills which are highly relevant to a range of career options attracting competitive salaries.

Notes about fees for this course

Annual tuition fees for entry in the academic year 2017/18 are as follows:

UK/EU International LLB (Hons) Full-time £9,000 £12,950

Fees for full time Undergraduate UK/EU students may be increased in subsequent years of study by an inflationary amount determined by Welsh Government.

Fees for full time Undergraduate International students will increase by 3% for each subsequent year of study.

Entry requirements

Our standard offer for our various Single honours and Joint Honours programmes is 3 A-Levels at grades ranging from AAB-BBB or equivalent.
