About Post Mortem Radiology for Natural and Forensic Death Investigation at Postgraduate Science at Leicester

Autopsy practice is changing around the world with the use of post mortem computed tomography as an adjunct or replacement to the traditional invasive autopsy in both natural and suspicious death investigation.

This postgraduate degree will enhance your knowledge, practical skills and diagnostic confidence in the field of post mortem imaging, drawing on the expertise of the University of Leicester’s East Midlands Forensic Pathology Unit and Imaging Unit, global pioneers in the field of post mortem computed tomography imaging.

Each module consists of five days' on-campus teaching with distant blended learning. You will be expected to achieve a pass rate of 50% on all module learning material.

Individual modules from this course can also be studied separately, building up credits towards a qualification, or you can attend one of the residential courses on its own (CPD applied for).

Due to limited places on our medical sciences, biosciences and psychology courses, if you (or your family) are funding your studies, you will need to pay a deposit of £750 (UK/EU Students)/£1500 (International Students) within four weeks of accepting your offer.
