Corinne Biasizzo, Alumna (Brand & Business Management) - Marketing & Communication Assistant, Moncler

Milano Fashion Institute has contributed to my personal training giving me the opportunity to stay in an international environment and learning how to relate with people from all over the world.

I understand how this international context is essential in order to learn how to relate with people with different thoughts and cultures, in fact the teaching method is very practical and focused on what we will find into the working world. This method allowed me to get prepared for the new and complex environment of the world of fashion: thanks to the valuable advices of the teachers, stress and difficulties are faced with a mature and correct approach.

Moreover, I was lucky to start my internship very soon, before the end of the lectures’ period: my role is to follow the Marketing and Communication Director, coordinate the various departments (Press, Events, Digital, Corporate Image) and collaborate in various projects of different areas. At the beginning was six-months internship, subsequently they have interrupted the internship in order to hire me. Now my role is more defined and with more responsibilities that allow me to learn and grow both professionally and personally especially because I am still at the beginning of my career

Viviana Sofia Duque, Alumna (Brand & Communication Management) - Press & Pr Assistant, Sergio Rossi

Getting to know people from all over the world and working with them towards a common goal, was definitely the best part of MFI’S master. I think that sharing and brain storming with people that you’ve just met and that have different backgrounds not only cultural but professional is a challenge. Definitely is the most difficult part, but was also the one that taught me the most.

About the internship experience, it was very different from what I expected,I had the opportunity and if I may say the privilege to make part of the PR office at Sergio Rossi, an Italian Company that produces first quality handmade shoes. It was a full immersion experience right from the beginning. I am working with 5 fantastic tutors that had taught me a lot and help me anytime with any question I have. Team work here flows with lots of harmony thanks to a great organization.

So far so good, right now I am really looking forward to Milan’s fashion week and every experience that comes with it!

Flavia Calisti, Alumna (Brand & Product Management) - Accessories Product Assistant, Jil Sander

My experience at the MFI absolutely has helped the growth of my professional role. I could deepen known topics such as: Brand Management, Licensing, Fashion Marketing, Brand Communication, Brand Design, Merchandising & Pricing that I haven’t studied during my undergraduate.

I think it is important to have an overview of the fashion system: from the collection structure and product development up to the brand communication and product itself. In fact, to acquire the global knowledge of the dynamics and processes within a fashion company makes easier the dialogue between the various departments.

My work experience was definitely the perfect end of my MFI course. I was lucky to find a challenging environment, where I was able to apply the knowledge gained during the months of lessons and acquire other competences. Generally speaking,

I am very satisfied about my MFI Master Program.
