Typical entry requirements
You will normally have a UK Master's level qualification (or international equivalent) and a strong record of research publications to enrol in the doctorate programme. Applicants must submit their papers and a statement indicating the unifying theme of their research and its contribution to knowledge. This will be evaluated and if judged to be of appropriate standard for PhD candidates will be invited to an interview. Candidates must be graduates (or equivalent) of at least five years with a Master's degree, research training or show evidence of having received research training or equivalent experience in their work environment.
There's further information for international students on our international website if you're applying with non-UK qualifications.
