All of the books required for the course are available from the library. The University also has PC labs and a laptop loan service. However, many students choose to buy some of the core textbooks for the course and/or a laptop. Students may also need to print their assignments and other documents. Campus printing costs start from 5p per page. Estimated costs are £300 for a laptop up to £100 each year for books and printing. Total optional cost: £600

This distance learning LLB provides the necessary foundations of legal knowledge to enable graduates to go onto further training to become a solicitor or barrister.
This online law degree allows you to study from anywhere in the world through distance learning, with structured learning materials and online interactive workshops. There are optional face to face sessions available at Manchester Law School, many of which are also available to view and access remotely.
The degree comprises the core foundations of legal knowledge along with option units which span practice related subjects (for example criminal and civil litigation and conveyancing) and more traditional law options such as evidence and company law.
Many of the teaching staff on this online programme are qualified lawyers and they bring a wealth of practical legal training and knowledge into the virtual learning environment. The programme delivery is over four years, allowing you to study flexibly part-time around your existing commitments
