What is the programme all about?
The European Master of Food Science, Technology and Business (Ghent et al) adopts a multidisciplinary approach to a broad range of topics under the umbrella of food sciences.
This programme offers in-depth courses, a professional competence module, and an MSc thesis project, which allow specialisation in the domains of Innovative Technology, Energy and Food Chains, Risk and Safety, and Sustainable Food Production and Business. Upon successful graduation, you will receive a joint degree.
The programme is a two-year programme, organised in a clear modular format consisting of ten modules in year one, and with evaluation at the end of each module.
You are required to take six compulsory courses and four optional courses organised by the institutions with expertise in that field.
You will complete a professional competence module, and work on a scientific project in one of the partner institutions or in an approved workplace that will culminate in your master’s thesis.
