Entry requirements

This honours programme accepts applications from students from all KU Leuven master programmes. Students who still have to complete the bachelor but are already allowed to take some master courses can also be admitted. The programme committee decides on all applications, based on the project team proposals, individual motivations and availability (places are limited). More information on the application procedure is given in the first class.

Students are expected to attend an info session, in which they will get more insights about the concept of transdisciplinary research, the available problems (challenges) for research and will get the opportunity for a preliminary registration to a work group. Afterward, students will have one week for submitting a CV and a motivation letter for an official registration to the programme and to a specific challenge. The academic team will decide whether an interview is needed to accept a student depending on the available challenges. Selected students are then officially accepted in a research group for a specific challenge.
