Then join us at Hotelschool The Hague for our Bachelor Business Administration in Hotel Management (BBA.HM), ranked top 5 worldwide! Hotelschool The Hague has been, ‘At the heart of Hospitality’ since 1929 and you join a warm, welcoming and international community in either The Hague or Amsterdam, with students from over 50 nationalities.

You explore the world of hospitality, participating in two international internships. During the Bachelor Programme you develop your social skills, business skills and practical skills. You will form lifelong friendships during your first year on campus accommodation. After four years, you graduate with a Hotelschool The Hague Bachelor’s Degree and excellent career opportunities: It’s your Passport to the World!

International Fast Track: Do you already have a previous qualification in hospitality-related studies (for example Tourismusschule- , Ausbildung- or a Dutch MBO diploma)? Are you ambitious and do you want to achieve a Bachelor degree in Hotel Management? You may qualify for our International Fast Track programme. This accelerated version of the Hotel Management Bachelor’s programme enables you to build on your experience and management skills in roughly two years.

Programme Structure

Developed from the demands of the Industry, the school’s curriculum is designed to challenge you. You aren’t just taught management theories, you apply them directly in practice whilst working on your personal development. You combine individual learning with group work. With your team you work on case studies, working for real life companies. Our Training and Management Skills are cited by our alumni as one of our greatest educational assets. The degree programme is 100% English, and you choose a second language from a wide range of modern languages.

The 4-year Bachelor programme is divided into three phases. During Phase I (one year) you learn the basics, during Phase II (one and a half years) you start developing your management and leadership skills and in Phase III (one and a half years), you apply your knowledge and experience strategically;, searching for new innovative combinations.

If you are living outside of The Netherlands, you are more than welcome to meet us aborad at an Education/University Fair or schedule a meeting with one of our representatives or student ambassadors. Application & Selection


Should you wish to be part of Hotelschool The Hague's vibrant student community, then you are more than welcome to apply for our programme starting either in February or August each year.

The formal application deadline for our Bachelor Programme was 1 May 2017. Unfortunately, Studielink is currently closed. Formal applications for 2018 will open again on 1 October 2017. The application deadline for August 2018 is 1 May 2018.

We strongly advise non-EEA students to start the application process as soon as possible, e.g. attend an Open Day and a Selection Day as early as possible in the Academic Year. This is in order to increase the chance of obtaining the visa in time, as preparations are needed from your side. Please, check the How To Apply document to read more about the visa application procedure. Hotelschool The Hague will assist in any way we can, however we are not responsible for the outcome of the visa procedure and we depend on an active approach from your side.


You will be invited to a selection day after you have applied and meet the entry requirements. During this selection day you are given the opportunity to demonstrate your motivation and affinity with the world of hospitality. If you do not have the possibility to come to one of our selection days in The Netherlands, it is also possible to visit one of our selection days abroad. The selection days are listed when you apply. Our selection days in November or December 2017 could give you the possibility to start our Bachelor programme in February 2018.

Study choice activities

According to Dutch law 'Kwaliteit in verscheidenheid', if you register before 1 May you have the right to participate in study choice activities. This rule doesn't apply for universities with selection, and Hotelschool The Hague is therefore excluded from this rule.
