The Architectural Engineering degree offers broad learning across the main engineering disciplines. It will give you the technical knowledge and an understanding of the key engineering topics within Architectural Engineering. You'll also gain an understanding of the managerial issues faced by architectural engineers who work in the industry. The MEng course provides a broader understanding of management issues and problem solving within the industry. And, you'll complete a 12 week industrial placement in semester one of year five.
The courses are delivered by the Royal Academy of Engineering Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Building Design. This jointly forms a national network of centres to demonstrate best practice in teaching and research for the sustainable built environment.
We are still accepting applications for September 2018.
Accreditation
Both the BEng (Hons) and the MEng courses are accredited by the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) and the Energy Institute (EI).
