Entry requirements

You'll need a qualifying law honours degree, a Graduate Diploma in Law or an exemption granted by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

If you intend to practise as a solicitor in England and Wales you need to look at the SRA website for the requirements to enter the profession. If you intend to practise in another jurisdiction you will need to find out the requirements to do so.

Overseas applicants will require IELTS with an overall score of 7.0 with no less than 5.5 in any category, or an equivalent accepted English qualification.
