English language

Before submitting your application, you should ensure you meet the English language requirements. You will be asked to provide evidence of the below English language tests in stage two of the formal online application process.

We accept any of the following tests as evidence of your English language ability:

  • IELTS (International English Language Testing Service) - minimum overall score of 7.0 and minimum writing score of 6.5.
  • TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) Internet-based Test - minimum total score of 100 and minimum writing score of 26. Our TOEFL Institution Code is 0822.
  • Pearson Test of English (Academic) - minimum overall score of 68.
  • Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English or Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English - minimum of Grade C.
  • Cambridge English Scale - minimum scale score of 190 in any scale scored test.
  • Trinity College London Integrated Skills in English III - Pass required.

We can only accept tests taken within two years of your registration date (with the exception of Cambridge English tests which have no expiry date). The University reserves the right to reject any test score if any one element of the test score is too low.

Student

Alejandro Palacios Strooman (2019 Corporate Sustainability MSc)

"During the Management and Corporate Sustainability MSc, we attended a lot of talks with people who are involved with sustainability, people that had a lot of experience, people that were in senior roles in private companies and organisations, people that were pioneers of pushing sustainability into corporate organisations. To hear those people talk about their experiences of sustainability transformation that is required in society was really inspiring."

Student

Cristina Gavilan (2019 Strategic Marketing MSc)

"Two months after completing the Strategic Marketing MSc, I was offered a Marketing Executive role in a company that manufactures British vitamin supplements. And now, after seven months in the company, I have been promoted to a Marketing Manager. I had to design a three-year Marketing Strategy for the brand; this is the reason why the Marketing Consultancy Project as well as the Marketing Communication modules were really useful and helped me to define the best option for the brand."

Student

Jakkrit Kingchum - Investment Management MSc (2019)

“At the moment I am working as an Investment Analyst, Cranfield has given me the solid knowledge and background to work in this role. In the third term on the Investment Management MSc, we are required to do valuations so I had to use Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters and Datastream so it was really useful for me because I have to use it almost every day.”
