Have you ever wondered who developed products like iPhone, Spotify, or TikTok? We’ll tell you! It was a team consisting of software engineers, designers, and product managers.
Is Product Management the right fit for you?
The decision is entirely up to you. But if your fingertips are tingling to understand customer needs, you know how to communicate with users and stakeholders of the company, you want to make sure that the right product is being built, are as curious to explore markets and industries as you are to interpret data and you can integrate respectfully in a team, Product Management is the right fit for you. It is essential to understand that Product Managers are the opposite of lone fighters: there is no Product Manager without a team.
What will you learn as a Product Management student at CODE?
Our students learn to base their decisions on theoretical and practical insights from economics, data science, systems and design thinking, psychology, strategy, agile methodology, marketing, software engineering, and project management. And since you have to be an ambassador for your product and talk to many different people every day – from the software engineer to the CEO of the company- will help you become a stellar presenter and communicator.
Which spectrum of technology applications you will cover?
Our students explore software solutions as well as hybrid products involving hardware. They work on highly scalable products that aim to combine social and community-driven purposes with profitability. For instance, one area of focus is on innovative products that help the economy to become more sustainable, and strengthen society’s resilience in a future of increasingly volatile ecosystems.
Notes about fees for this courseAs a private institution we have to ask our students for a substantial financial contribution in the form of tuition, because we do not get any financial support from the state. At the same time, we want to inspire and empower the digital change-makers of tomorrow. What we therefore cannot and will not do is exclude those who cannot shoulder the financial burden of private-university tuition. CODE's concept of freedom
I chose to study at CODE because I liked the concept of freedom - that I can work on stuff I like and thereby can study while working on my business. Also, I really liked the sort of people who applied to CODE. They are all special and have something that drives them. It’s great to be in such an environment. Because in the end, you are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with.

A unique learning style
One of my many reasons for choosing to study at CODE is the unique learning style. I was intrigued by the idea of creating my own learning path with the support of experienced and caring individuals. My favorite thing about studying Software Engineering is the endless opportunities and a variety of learning paths there are. I love that I can explore different routes before finding and settling for something that suits me.

A total culture shock!
The teacher-student relationship at CODE was a total culture shock to me. To call the teachers by their first names with no prefix? And they actually treat you like equal adults? Damn, am I still getting used to it. Everyone is so friendly and always there for you; it's quite comforting. No matter how bad you fail, the faculty always encourages you to dust yourself off and get up. Every student also gets a personal mentor chosen from the team to help you with any academic or even personal problems that you may have!
