International Business Management with Study Abroad in a Modern Language (BSc)

In this four-year degree course, you will not only learn about international business but also spend a year abroad at one of our partner universities studying in the host language. This degree is the same as the three-year BSc International Business Management course for the first two years. In the first year you will learn basic concepts and tools ? both qualitative and quantitative ? for the study of management, as well as exploring the global business environment. During your second year you will have the chance to tailor your degree via optional units; popular second-year options in the past have included Management Science, Consumer Behaviour and Project Management. You will also learn about research design, data collection and analysis to prepare you for dissertation writing. You will spend your third year abroad studying modules in business and management in your chosen language at one of our partner universities. You will return to Bristol for your final year, when you will complete a dissertation ? a piece of individual research in which you can focus on a topic of your choice. You will also take other core and optional units; popular final-year options in the past have included Strategy, Data Analytics and Human Resource Management.
