About Accounting and Finance at Bournemouth University

This course is delivered by the AACSB accredited Business School, an accreditation which places us within the top institutions globally for business degrees. Less than 5% of business schools worldwide have attained this hallmark of excellence which recognises a focus on excellence in all areas, including teaching and student learning.

This Integrated Master's course, which is accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, the Association of International Accountants, the Charted Institute of Management Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, provides both the theoretical frameworks and practical skills required of accounting and finance professionals.

One of the key features of the course is its flexibility. Designed around a number of core units to develop your theoretical knowledge, ability to analyse financial data and understand financial instruments, you’ll be able to tailor your learning with a number of option units to suit your career ambitions. What’s more as a training provider for the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment’s (CISI) Chartered Wealth Management Qualification, depending on the units you choose, you can sit the CISI’s examinations and if successful you’ll receive a Wealth Management professional qualification alongside your Integrated Master’s degree.

A diverse array of guest speakers help to add context to what your highly-qualified and experienced lecturers teach you in the classroom, and you’ll have the option to study abroad at one of our international partner institutions during the second semester of the second year. Currently we have partners in Australia, Canada and Europe.

91% of our final year students feel that they received helpful comments on their work. Join us on live chat now to find out more, or register to meet us at an open day.
