About Photography at American InterContinental University London

This Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree program with a concentration in Photography gives students the opportunity to acquire the photographic skills to convey their vision through several types of photography – fine art, advertising, fashion and photojournalism. Coursework is structured to assist students in the development of their goals as they acquire the knowledge and skills common to professional photographers.

Overview

Along with a strong design foundation that includes creative problem solving, computer design and art direction, the goal of the BFA with a concentration in Photography is to allow students to focus intently on the art and techniques of photography and the use of professional cameras.

In this industry-focused curriculum, students can experiment with fine art styles, a range of studio and location lighting for subjects such as cars, food and fashion models and the investigative aspects of photojournalism.
