MBA in France

France is home to over 50 business schools, with the majority offering many different types of MBA programmes to international students. The Global MBA Rankings 2015 featured two French business schools in their top 50, both of which are well known for having a multicultural environment, making France a great place to study for an MBA abroad.

Most French business schools will offer part time MBA programmes as well as Full Time MBA programmes, with some universities offering specialised MBA courses. Some popular specialised MBA courses include marketing, retail management, finance and healthcare management.

Taking an MBA in France can take anywhere between twelve months and three years of study depending on the type of course you are taking and the university at which you are choosing to study. Entry requirements to an MBA in France will vary depending on the university you are applying to, so you are advised to contact the institution directly to get a full breakdown of entry requirements. Generally students will need to be able to demonstrate previous academic and practical business experience, and will normally be required to prove their English language proficiency. Most universities will also require students to write a letter of intent to study, as well as provide GMAT test scores.
Career prospects for those with an MBA degree are high with most graduates achieving managerial roles within businesses quicker than those without. Career progression is also achievable within international businesses due to the MBA being achieved in a different country. Most students that have gained an MBA in France choose to stay in the country to start their career.
