Design degrees are likely to be multi-discipline, allowing you to foster your creativity within several fields such as product, environmental, industrial, engineering and experience design. You will be encouraged to develop your skill sets and work towards entering the workplace as a successful designer for the future.
Graduates of degrees in design can pick from careers in many fields such as product design, UX design, environmental design, graphic design and fashion design.
Your degree will be delivered in a mixture of modes, including lectures, tutorials, seminars and group projects. Depending on your course, you may also have the option to take part in a work placement. Modules you study could include:
