Canada is becoming a thriving place for international students to study, and currently has six MBA programs listed in the top 100 MBA rankings from the Financial Times and the Economist. Whilst Canada is becoming more popular for international study, it is no surprise that the applications to study an MBA in Canada are also increasing.

Just like other MBA programs offered across the world, business schools in Canada offer international students a range of study mode options e.g. Full time or part time. Most full-time MBA’s are studied over the course of 12 months with around 12-15 hours of teaching time each week. On the other hand, part time MBA’s can take up to 4 years to complete, and offer around 8 hours of teaching per week.

Throughout the course of a Canadian MBA program, international students will cover in detail, modules such as business, economics, management and marketing. Students will also be able to put into practice their knowledge through work placements. Some institutions also offer the opportunity to undertake work placements outside of Canada.
