Many students wish to study nursing in Australia as part of a study abroad program, because of the highly ranked institutions and teaching excellence. Nursing can be studied in Australia at the undergraduate and postgraduate level, with undergraduate degrees taking around three years of full time study to complete, and postgraduate degrees taking around 1 year of full time study.

During an undergraduate nursing program, students will study core modules including health, clinical practice, the human body and human behaviour, complexity of illness, injury, and complex clinical care. Students will also have to demonstrate their understanding of nursing throughout their degree by undergoing many placements within hospitals and doctors surgeries.
