About Master of Exercise Physiology, MSc - at University of Newcastle, Australia

The demand for accredited exercise physiologists in a variety of health environments is rapidly expanding. The Master of Exercise Physiology at the University of Newcastle is a unique, advanced and contemporary allied health program which aims to bring critical thinking and appraisal of evidence in exercise physiology and health practice to the forefront.

Entry requirements

Prior completion of an AQF 7 Bachelor degree (or higher), or equivalent, in exercise and sport science and successful Graduate Entry Assessment from Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA).

Students that have completed the Graduate Diploma in Exercise and Chronic Disease Management will not be allowed entry into the Master of Exercise Physiology unless they can demonstrate a successful Graduate Entry Assessment from Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA).

All Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the University’s English proficiency requirement. Further information regarding English language proficiency requirements can be found at the English Language Proficiency for Admission Policy here.
