The College of Science and Engineering is home to seven academic departments with a strong research and teaching focus, six of which teach postgraduate degrees. These are the departments of Chemistry, Engineering, Geography, Informatics, Mathematics and Physics & Astronomy.
Many of our postgraduate taught courses within the fields of Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics and Geographical Information Science are available to undertake with an industrial placement, for which there is a small additional fee (15% of the total fee payable for the course).
