About Social and Organisational Psychology, MSc - at University of Exeter

Expertise in areas of social and organizational psychology is a particular strength within the School. In the community at large there is also considerable and increasing demand for graduates who have knowledge of, and an ability to conduct research in, these fields. The programme develops the practical skills necessary to conduct advanced research in diverse areas of social and organizational psychology and accompanies this with advanced theoretical and empirical treatments of topics such as group processes, leadership, negotiation, communication, social perception and social judgement. The marriage of these skills will enhance students’ capacity to work in organizational and social fields, and the degree also serves as a foundation for students seeking to pursue doctoral programmes in these fields. Students may register for the programme as a stand-alone MSc or follow it as the first year of a PhD.
