About Mechanical Engineering, BEng, MEng - at University of Exeter

Mechanical Engineering essentially focuses on machines, devices and structures and how they can be made, so it includes topics such as materials, dynamics, manufacturing, aerodynamics and thermodynamics. However, in these programmes we also place a great deal of emphasis on transferable skills such as communication, teamwork, information technology and computer skills, and importantly the practice and development of design skills.
