About Law, LLB - at University of Exeter

Our LLB degree programme takes three years full-time, is fully accredited by the Law Society and covers all the foundation subjects that are required to pass the Academic Stage that forms part of the professional qualification as a barrister or solicitor. On graduation you will be able proceed to the Solicitors’ Legal Practice Course or Bar Vocational Course.

LLB with International Study

This programme is available to you only after you have taken the first year of our LLB Honours Law programme (M103/M105). You may be able to transfer onto the LLB with International Study at the end of the first year if you get marks equivalent to at least a 2:1 in the first-year modules and are successful at interview. Providing you maintain high academic levels during your second year, you can expect to spend the third year abroad in a law faculty in Australia, Singapore, Canada or the USA. Please note that you cannot apply for the LLB with International Study degree initially through UCAS. Please contact the School for further information.
