This course produces technically literate managers with the skills and knowledge to identify, design, build and manage the technological solutions that are the foundations of every organisation.

We designed the course to give you the relevant skills, and the ability to use them effectively in a commercial environment. You learn to be a reflective practitioner with an understanding of lifelong learning. It also provides a sound academic base for further study.
The course combines business and communication knowledge with current and emerging ICT. You gain the skills to manage and understand new technology and its application to provide business solutions and opportunities.
This broad-based curriculum and optional year’s placement in industry opens many doors for our graduates. It is a recognised route into professions such as * marketing * human resources * public relations * accountancy.
We recommend you take a paid work placement in year three. Typical salaries range from £12,000 to £22,000. This year helps your personal development and gives you the chance to apply your studies in the work environment.
You also gain new skills, which make you more attractive to employers. This year can sometimes lead to the offer of a permanent job after graduation.
Many graduates want to run their own business, so there is a series of modules to teach essential business skills for budding entrepreneurs. These modules are just as valuable for those wanting to work for companies.
