About Digital Design and Web Development (Year 2 Direct Entry) HND (SCQF level 8), HND - at City of Glasgow College

This year of the course further explores coding and design skills, exploring a mix of client and server side languages and technologies. There will be an emphasis on design and development of content and user engagement for responsive web products.

You'll build on skills from HNC Digital Design and Web Development or HNC Web Development and develop further techniques in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, server side languages, framework development, interface design, media creation and optimisation.

To showcase your skills you'll complete the year by developing a specialist project in several of the subject areas.
