Why study this programme
This programme is awarded by the University for the Creative Arts, an institution that has been ranked 13th out of all UK universities in The Guardian League Tables 2020 and ranked 7th in business, marketing and management (The Guardian League Tables 2021).
During your BA, you’ll learn about working in an international business environment through modules including: Economics for the Global Service Industry, Transportation: The Airline and Cruising Industry as well as Sustainable Tourism in the Developing World. You’ll also have the opportunity to choose between either the Hospitality and Food and Beverage Pathway or Tourism and Events Management Pathway, depending on your career goals.
The BA requires you to choose between the three or four-year International Route. The four-year route will include a foundation year which will help you develop core knowledge of creative business and management. Additionally, you’ll be fully prepared for using English in academic work.
Throughout the programme, you’ll develop an expert knowledge of the tourism and hospitality industry which is needed if you want to help your business to achieve its goals. Lectures, discussions and class visits will give you the opportunity to learn practical skills.

You will have the option to choose from:

2. Digital Marketing and Social Media: you will gain indispensable skills in social media and digital marketing so you can stay ahead of the competition.
3. Financial and Business Modelling: this course can help you make advanced level decisions that enhance the value of your organisation.
4. Project Management: this programme teaches you leadership skills and how to effectively address constraints including scope, time and budget.
5. Character Development - Leadership and Strategy: you will develop skills in innovation and entrepreneurship whilst leading from the front.

English Language requirements
The English Language test can be waived and a Medium of Instruction Letter submitted if:
BA (Hons):
Minimum age: 18 years old (titles awarded upon completion of at least 12 years of schooling)
Academic Qualifications: a school leaving certificate that allows you to pursue higher education in Germany (e.g. Abitur, Fachhochschulreife, Matura or International Baccalaureate), or International school leaving certificates, or BTEC/National Diploma, or Advanced Vocational Certificate of Education.
If you do not meet the above academic requirements, applicants with professional qualifications and/or 4 or more years of full-time work experience will be considered on an individual basis

Whether you’re an undergraduate or postgraduate student, BSBI would like all students to have the opportunity to study in Berlin, regardless of their financial status.
BSBI scholarships are awarded based on merit and financial need and can be given out for several reasons. They’re designed to support you throughout your studies with us and help you with general living costs. Our scholarships are non-repayable, and you have the freedom to spend it on anything you require from books and equipment to rent and utilities. You can only apply for one bursary or scholarship type in any single year.
Leadership and Enterprise Scholarship
This scholarship, endorsed by the CEO, is awarded based on the following criteria:
Academic merit
You must show that you will be expected to succeed and benefit from your chosen programme and explain what you would like to gain from it.
Personal statement
You will need to write a personal letter of 250 words on how your chosen programme will impact your future.
Financial need
You must show how you could not enrol into the programme without the scholarship.
