Testimonials

Nick Alexander: Information and Library Management

The reason I chose to go to Loughborough University was primarily because of its top ranking in the country for Information Science, it is consistently listed at the top of the league tables for this subject.

It is good to know that Nottingham and Leicester are just down the road or and about ten minutes by train which is great for seeing live bands play. We also get some big name bands coming to the Union itself.

There is actually a good social life going on in Loughborough and the easiest way to make friends here is to join in with the societies which seem to be incredibly active here. I'm personally involved in two societies that pretty much take care of all of the time in which I am not studying.

The study is very well balanced over the course of the entire term. The teachers are also very supportive here. If you have any questions, they're always very friendly and welcoming which is especially important when you come to think about your dissertation.

Marcelo Conforto De Alencar Moreira - Information and Knowledge Management

I came from Brazil, the journey has been long but it has been absolutely worth it. The University is fantastic; we have a lot of structure, a lot of support for mature students with families. The University has a nursery, and my wife is studying English at the College.

The life in Loughborough is everything we thought it would be, its very calm, and a very peaceful city. There are lots of ways to go around the town or surrounding areas such as Leicester.

The quality of teaching they have at Loughborough University, the league charts speak for that. The teachers are very supportive.
