Orientation meetings

USC International Student Services manage your enrolment once you have arrived on campus.
Dedicated and friendly staff provide comprehensive orientation programs, information sheets and ongoing assistance including answering any questions you may have.

USC’s smaller campus community gives you easy access to staff for personalised assistance.

When you arrive at USC, you will receive:

a comprehensive orientation, including a campus tour
an introduction to staff, campus facilities and services
assistance with finalising your enrolment.
You will also be invited to join in social activities organised to help you meet other students

Scholarship

USC International Postgraduate Research Scholarship
The University of the Sunshine Coast offers an International Postgraduate Research Scholarship for international higher degree by research students.

While the University itself is unable to offer any further scholarships or financial aid to international students, a variety of scholarship opportunities are available through the Australian Government

Accommodation

Modern, fully-furnished, apartment-style accommodation is available a short walk from the campus. The local shopping centre is within easy reach.
The accommodation includes swimming, tennis, basketball and barbeque facilities. Each apartment has a self-contained kitchen, private bathroom, internet and telephone connections.

International student services

At USC, you will enjoy a high level of personal attention and have access to superb support services, sporting facilities and recreational opportunities.
USC International is your point of contact before and after you arrive at USC. Staff are welcoming, helpful and experienced and will supply you with information and direction for all your personal, academic or administrative enquiries.

USC International staff provide advice about how to apply, arrange Overseas Student Health Cover and assist with pre-departure enquiries including:

Airport pickup

A range of transport options is available to get you where you want to go around the Sunshine Coast and beyond:
The campus is less than 30 minutes drive from the Sunshine Coast Airport and approximately 60 minutes drive from Brisbane International and Domestic Airport.

Join USC’s Study Abroad program for one or two semesters to experience a different culture and make long-lasting Australian friendships.

Study Abroad also allows you to register online for classes with the first round of Australian students, so you know exactly what you will be studying before you arrive.
