USQ Toowoomba has three Residential Colleges offering you an opportunity to meet other students, make lifelong friendships, succeed academically, have an enjoyable and varied social life and participate fully in university and college life.
Pastoral care and assistance is provided by the residential collegiate team, which comprises of both postgraduate and undergraduate students.
There is a free academic mentoring and tutorial program in place to assist you if you choose to stay at the Residential Colleges. Rooms have telephones and are fully furnished with a choice of private and shared bathroom facilities.
Rooms are cleaned and fresh linen is supplied weekly. As a resident of the Colleges you will have access to broadband internet connection, however if you don't have your own computer you can access the University's 24 hour computer laboratories. Recreational facilities in common rooms include pool tables, table tennis tables, televisions and DVD players. The University indoor recreation centre, gymnasium, tennis courts, rugby league, Australian rules football and soccer fields are all adjacent to the Colleges.
Accommodation fees include meals, utilities, bedroom cleaning, linen, internet allowance, formal dinners, tuition, mentoring and academic support.
Other accommodation options at USQ include homestay and private rental of off-campus units and houses. Many of the student accommodation options have been developed to cater specifically to your needs as a USQ student, and are located within walking distance of the university campus.

USQ wishes to make your arrival in Australia as smooth as possible. Free airport reception and transfer is available if you are arriving to study at USQ for the first time. If you would like someone waiting at the airport to transfer you to your accommodation, you can complete an online booking form.

Each semester, USQ welcomes study abroad and exchange students from all over the world. The Study Abroad and Exchange Program at USQ offers you the opportunity to study on campus in Australia for one or two semesters, receive credit for your studies at your home institution and receive all the benefits and privileges of any other USQ student. You can study a minimum of three and a maximum of four courses per semester and as a Study Abroad or Exchange student, you can take any course offered by USQ.
