For you to study well and enjoy your time at university, you need to live somewhere that is comfortable, convenient and affordable. At our regional campuses and our city study centres, a range of accommodation options are offered to suit your lifestyle and budget.
You can study and live with Australians on the Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Orange and Wagga Wagga campuses with the choice of full board or self catered accommodation. Off campus accommodation (student residences and lodges) and Homestay accommodation is available to students studying at the CSU Study Centres in Melbourne and Sydney. Off campus accommodation is not owned or managed by CSU.
International Student Support Officers are assigned to on-campus international students to offer assistance with settling into accommodation and general orientation including familiarisation with teaching, administrative processes and campus facilities. They can also provide information on city and regional attractions. The International Student Support Officers are available for ongoing international student support throughout your studies at CSU.
Religious Support
Freedom of religious choice is an important part of the Australian lifestyle. On the regional campuses there is inter-denominational Christian Services and, on Wagga Wagga campus, there is an Islamic Study Centre. Many other religions are represented in our local communities, including Baha'i, Buddhism, Hinduism and Judaism. The CSU Study Centres do not offer religious services, however in Melbourne and Sydney a variety of religious services are available.
A Reception Service is provided on your arrival to the city of your study.
The Study Abroad Program at Charles Sturt University's regional campuses was originally designed for students enrolled at an overseas university. The program is now open to students not currently studying at university and has wide appeal as a way to sample university study without committing to a full degree program. For six to twelve months, you can study at one of our campuses and experience Australian education and lifestyle in a supportive and accessible learning atmosphere, while gaining credit towards your degree at home.
