Are you looking for the next step in your creative career? Have you reached a point where you need an extra boost to open more doors? Do you want to improve your knowledge and expertise of your subject area? Or are you straight out of university looking to top up your qualifications before moving into the workplace?
Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) runs a number of creative MA courses and is launching a global competition aimed at finding the world’s most promising international talent in the fields of Architecture, Animation, Film, and Photography. As well as the kudos associated with being named one of the World’s top up-and-coming creative talents, competition winners will be awarded full MA tuition fee scholarships, worth up to £18,000.
The scholarships are open to international (non-EU) students and the eligible courses are AUB’s MA Animation Production, MA Film Production (all pathways except Directing), the RIBA accredited MA Architecture (Year One only) and MA Commercial Photography for October 2016 entry. There are separate scholarships and discounts available for UK/EU students.
AUB’s Head of International Development, Hilary Colvey commented:
“This is a wonderful opportunity for the next generation of creative talent from around the world to take a significant step towards making that dream career a reality. If you have genuine creative flair and a love for what you do, you’re in with a chance of winning. This is your chance to take your creativity onto the global stage.”
The competition is open from January 2016 until 15th June 2016. To enter, you’ll need to post an example of your best work publicly on social media (with the AUBemerge hashtag) and submit a link to your post on the AUB website, along with some information about yourself.
This piece of work can be in any medium – the only guideline is that it should be something that you think best showcases your talent, relevant to the programme you are applying for. You will then be invited to apply, if you haven’t already applied. Final scholarship decisions will be made based on applicant’s portfolios, personal statements and qualifications.
