Study
The Early Modern History pathway examines the relationships between society, culture, politics and ideology in England between c1500 and c1700. The course provides an in-depth examination of the nature of power, authority, ideology and culture in England between the Reformation and the early eighteenth century.
Structure
Unlike some MA courses that 'mix-and-match' large numbers of small modules, within each course option students take a year-long 60-credit module, allowing them really to explore their area of interest in detail.

Employability

Research skills are taught in a dedicated training programme, which provides everything the student needs to further their historical ambitions and career.
