Flinders University is a public research university established in Adelaide, South Australia in 1966. The university’s primary campus spans over 300 acres and is located in Adelaide’s Bedford neighbourhood, and the university also operates three additional campuses in and around Adelaide. 

In addition to over 500 courses offered across postgraduate and undergraduate levels, Flinders University offers joint courses in partnership with leading institutes in multiple countries abroad including China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia. 

Flinders is home to over 17,000 enrolled students, with nearly 6,000 being international students. The university is a great fit for many international students due to its focus on aspects such as career-oriented degrees, progressive cultural values and an internationally-minded education. 

At the Flinders New Venture Institute, for instance, international students can regularly interact with industry professionals and build connections with relevant businesses in their chosen subject area. Moreover, Flinders University has an excellent global reputation for the quality of its research; research strengths at the university include biomedical sciences, public policy, psychology, engineering and environmental studies. In fact, 90 percent of Flinders’ research has been rated world-class standard or above by Excellence in Research for Australia.

The recently-opened Flinders Train Station allows international students to comfortably travel between their university and downtown Adelaide, and enjoy the cultural and culinary delights the city has to offer. 

Flinders University also has a well-developed online study ecosystem and offers as many as 90 postgraduate courses completely online. The university offers courses across six colleges to international students:
